What is a salt soap?
A bar of soap that has sea salt added to it. Sea salt is a natural humectant which draws moisture to your skin without leaving it greasy and balances the natural oils in your skin. Sea salt also provides a very gentle exfoliation and is full of minerals! Our salt soaps also have a higher coconut oil content. This creates a super hard bar with a luxurious lotion-like lather and giant bubbles! The shea butter added to this recipe also increases the moisturizing and soothing properties of our salt soaps. That is on top of our already ultra moisturizing goats milk that is in every single bar! Salt bars are great to put in high use areas, like your main bathroom sink that gets the most use.
*Why Goat Milk?*
Goat milk is packed with fatty acids, proteins, amino acids, and vitamins to hydrate and soothe skin (and is said to be great for people with conditions like eczema or psoriasis). Goat milk also contains lactic acid, which is a natural exfoliant that helps to keep your skin healthy and clear. Goat milk works as a moisturizer and removes dead skin cells.
*Ingredients*
Made with saponified organic coconut oil, sea salt, shea butter, castor oil, high-quality cosmetic grade fragrance oils (phthalate and paraben-free), and body-safe micas
*Shipping and Packaging*
This bar of soap will weigh approximately 5 oz. Your soap will be shipped in 1 - 3 days after being ordered.
Each bar packaged in a recyclable box to provide maximum protection for our soaps and minimal damage to our earth.
*Care instructions*
We do suggest testing the soap out on a small section of skin before diving headfirst into it. Our bars keep best if they can drain and dry between uses. Please contact us if you have any questions or concerns!
